The cupcake birthday cake that Amy and Stacie made. It was really good. Amy got the idea from a cupcake recipe book.

They are a happy bunch of kids. They make me smile.

We acknowledged the fact that Ryan and Jenny and Scott and Amy were having wedding anniversaries. They each got a card and some chocolates.
On Christma Eve day, Stacie spent a lot of the day in the kitchen cooking a most yummy meal for my birthday and Dick's birthday. The dinner was Stacie's and Matt's birthday gifts to us. It consisted of three courses: a roll and butter, a delightful vegetable salad, and wonderful pork ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy. But, not only did Stacie cook it for us, she cooked it for all nineteen of us. However, Dick and I had our own private eating place in the great room with fine china and chrystal and some very classy waiters and waitresses, namely, Spencer(who said we looked like we were in love), Ashlynn, Ali, Elle, Zack, Sam (who poured our sparkling punch with ease), Milly and Jacob. That was really a fun evening. Thanks to our great chef (Stacie) and all those who waited on us. Amy made a bill and categorized it. Everything was free. That was one fine dinner. Thanks to all who made it such a great evening!
After our luscious dinner, we drove over to Jenny's and Ryan's for more festivities: Rock Band, a round of Dirty Dora (Hearts), and then watched a movie. New Year's came in with the banging of pots and pans and a few poppers. It was a fun night for all of us.

Sounds like it was all lots of fun. I'm sure your house feels REALLY quiet now. Missing everyone. You really had a long, great time with everyone. Congratulations! And Happy Birthday to both you and Dick!

Fun to see those pictures. I didn't see them before we left. I love the picture of Billy hanging out single on the couch with no one to kiss... Someday, Billy! :o)
