We had such a great time with Matt's and Stacie's family during conference. As you can see, the boys made a tent, like the people did in the times of King Benjamin. They both had their conference packets and activities and were super listeners. Jacob was amazing. He drew a picture of what each speaker said and labeled it with their name underneath. When I asked him who was his favorite speaker, he said President Monson. I asked him what President Monson said and he said: "He talked about where we came from (Heaven), why we're here (experience and body) and where we are going (to live with Heavenly Father). He also talked about the boat sailing to and fro." What a smart little "cookie."
The boys also put together a Book of Mormon puzzle.
Of course, conference pancakes were on the menu for breakfast. Matt and Stacie invited their friends over to enjoy it with us. As you can see, they helped turn the pancakes.
Those pancakes were "yummy." We love conference pancakes. Jacob got in on the fun of flipping the pancakes too. Even Grandpa Dick participated.
It was also great that Dick was able to attend Priesthood meeting with Matt. Stacie, her friend and I watched "Runaway Bride."
We really enjoyed conference and the wonderful talks that were given. It was fun to be with Matt and Stacie and the children.

Sounds like your visit was a lot of fun. Glad you got to enjoy the conference pancakes together...and really glad Dick and Matt got to go to priesthood meeting together. Aren't those little boys fun? I love how they are being taught and "brought up in the nature and admonition of the Lord." I think Matt and Stacie are doing a wonderful job. Thanks so much for the cute pictures and the great post!
Just popped in to catch up on your news and have enjoyed reading your latest posts and seeing your lovely grandchildren, especially the new baby. My niece has called her newborn Anna too - lovely name. Lovely family.
