Dick's Walk Across the Cotswolds in England

After many months of planning and making arrangements, Dick and his brother, Bill, took another walk across part of England.  This time it was through really lush, beautiful country called the Cotswolds.  This has been a goal for Dick since we were in New York on our mission.  He wanted to do another walk.

One of Dick's favorite things to do is go through old churches.  Here he is at a small Anglican Church.
Quite the posh English home.
Beautiful countryside

During the last week they were there, it rained every day except the last day.  They were walking in mud for a lot of their travels.
Another beautiful shot
The girl is running on the trail and has very muddy shoes.  There was some kind of a relay race going on.
Very muddy!
More posh homes

Bath was their last stop.  These are the Roman baths that were so famous.
Dick and Bill had a great time.  There were a few stressful times, especially when they trudged through mud for about 12 miles.  But, in the end, they made it.  Toward the end, they decided to walk on paved roads.  They said they saw some wonderful things that they would not have seen if they had walked the trail.  Both were in good spirits when they returned.
