Today, Dick came home from the hospital. He is still REALLY tired and needs to sleep a lot, which is very normal. The doctor said the MRI that he had yesterday was fine. The pathology report is still not in. The tumor didn't go into the lab until Monday, and usually takes three to five days. Hopefully, we will find out by Friday what the results are.
Amy helped Jenny's kids last night to make some big posters that welcomed Dick home. The kids had a ball making the posters, and Amy is so good to do those kinds of things. I have really appreciated having her here to lend support and love. Thanks Amy. She goes home tomorrow and we'll miss her.
Grandpa Dalebout has also been a great support. I hope we don't wear him out.
Hopefully, we'll get some sleep tonight.

Dick you look good. It is amazing what the medical field is capable of. Brain surgery and in only a couple of days you are up and about. Except for a big red spot on your forehead (that's all I can see from the pictures)you look back to normal.
I hope you feel back to normal soon.
Love, Dedee
dad, great to see you home. you are looking well. and mom, thanks for keeping the updates coming.
Thank you for letting us keep in touch with what is happening throught this blogspot and so we don't have to bother you with emails. We were overwhelmed with the size and complexity of the scar and all that has happened. We continue to pray that Dick's health will continue to improve and that you will enjoy many more years of joy together. With love from the Congo--Don and Marsha Livingstone
We have been praying for you in the DR Congo. Lots of love from the other side of the world -- Elder and Sister Moody
Great that you are home, Dick. Sleep as much as you need and make the most of the enforced rest. Evelyn, try to relax a bit now. Superb posters - what clever people you all are!
So good to see you at home!
